When you are in position to act, you can make simple, cheap and effective bluffs. It is also crucial to know when to fold, as chasing losses could result in you losing more than you can monetarily afford.
It is also important to mix up your playstyle to keep opponents guessing about what you have in your hand. If they always know what you have, then your bluffs won’t work and you will never win. For example, if you always bet when you have trip fives, then other players will expect you to have a straight or a full house.
